So, this article linked to Speak Out Though Not Spoken To regarding my post “If I Wanted The Government In My Vagina, I’d Fuck a Senator”. The humorous thing is, not only does the article have nothing to do with the context of my post, it actually challenges the writer’s views on the word “vagina.” Obviously, the word still has some pull in modern society. If it did not, then why would this woman even construct such an article? Furthermore, is it really so unfortunate that a term associated with female reproduction is no longer considered taboo, or dirty? After all, is that not what we were going for initially? I mean, why is it that words used to describe organs or sexuality are improper? Especially the ones associated with the female anatomy. I found all of this incredibly amusing and poorly conceived, as well as hypocritical. Some commenters suggested that the feminists who replied did not understand what the writer intended.
I move to suggest that the writer does not understand what the feminists intended.
